Carlos Vela by T-Mobile: Endorsement

Stand out from the crowd.

With all eyes on the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar and an increased Latino viewership, T-Mobile became the official partner of half-time on Telemundo. To maximize impressions during this break, T-Mobile and its agency Genesco Sports Enterprises, worked with LAFC to leverage the Club’s Mexican superstar, Carlos Vela, in various Spanish spoken spots to highlight T-Mobile and its new services after merging with Metro by T-Mobile.  Full integration with the LAFC Stadium was used as a filming venue.

The spots offered a unique opportunity for T-Mobile to leverage a prominent athlete who was relevant to both their crowd and the broadcast viewers, to align with a culturual event without IP rights.
